Opsgility Security Practice Highlights

Data Security 

Opsgility encrypts data at rest and in transit for all of our customers. We take advantage of all of the security capabilities in Microsoft Defender for cloud, as well as native features like Azure SQL Database’s Always Encrypted feature and Azure Key Vault to manage encryption keys for maximum security in line with industry best practices. All computers have their data encrypted with Microsoft BitLocker.  

Application Security 

Opsgility regularly engages some of the industry’s best application security experts for third-party penetration tests. Our penetration testers evaluate the running application, and the deployed environment. 

Opsgility also uses the native code scanning tools built in for .NET/C# to identify code quality and security issues during application development.  

Infrastructure Security 

Opsgility uses Microsoft Azure to host our application(s). We make full use of the security products embedded within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Microsoft Defender, Security Center, and the built-in monitoring and diagnostics services. 

In addition, we deploy our application using Platform as a Service services, meaning we typically do not manage servers in production.
