MS-721T00-A: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer is a hands-on, instructor-led training course designed to equip IT professionals with the skills needed to plan, configure, and manage Microsoft Teams Phone and collaboration solutions for enterprise environments.

Participants will learn how to design and implement Teams Phone, manage Direct Routing and Operator Connect, configure calling features, deploy Microsoft Teams Rooms, and monitor and maintain a secure, high-quality communication experience.   • Connecting Session Border Controllers (SBCs)

  • Configuring Operator Connect and managing carrier relationships

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting voice routing

Module 4: Extend Teams Phone with Devices and Teams Rooms

  • Selecting and deploying Teams-certified devices

  • Planning for Microsoft Teams Rooms and shared devices

  • Managing device settings, firmware, and policies

  • Supporting hot desking, common area phones, and meeting room experiences

Module 5: Monitor and Troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Phone

  • Using Call Quality Dashboard (CQD) and Teams Admin Center

  • Investigating call analytics and reporting issues

  • Implementing proactive monitoring and service health alerts

  • Reviewing network readiness for real-time media
