This course is designed for:

• Azure Administrators, Solution Architects, and SAP Basis Engineers responsible for deploying SAP workloads on Azure

Prerequisites:

• Experience with SAP (SAP HANA, NetWeaver, S/4HANA) and infrastructure management

Module 1: Explore Azure for SAP Workloads

• Understand the SAP–Microsoft partnership and SAP-certified configurations on Azure

• Distinguish Azure deployment options for SAP NetWeaver AnyDB and SAP S/4HANA 

Module 2: Plan Azure Infrastructure for SAP

• Architect compute, networking, and storage tailored for SAP workloads

• Design for high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and scalability 

Module 3: Implement Identity & Governance for SAP

• Integrate SAP services with Azure AD, hybrid identity, and AD DS

• Set up governance and manageability using Azure Policy and RBAC 

Module 4: Deploy SAP on Azure Infrastructure

• Deploy two-tier and three-tier SAP architectures on Azure VMs using ARM and configuration best practices

• Implement high availability for SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA instances 

Module 5: Enable Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

• Configure high availability and disaster recovery for SAP workloads using Azure Site Recovery

• Manage backup and restore processes for SAP systems on Azure

Module 6: Migrate SAP Workloads to Azure

• Utilize migration strategies (including DMO) and tools for traditional and very large databases (VLDBs)

• Apply planning checklists and optimization practices for SAP migration

Module 7: Monitor and Troubleshoot SAP on Azure

• Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and SAP-enhanced monitoring extensions for performance insights

• Diagnose and troubleshoot compute, storage, and network issues in SAP environments
