IL - MB-320 Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Manufacturing
In this course you will learn how to set up and configure manufacturing, create and manage production and lean orders and create, process, and manage production batch orders. This course will help prepare you to pass the Microsoft certification exam MB-320 Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Manufacturing.
- Duration: 4 days
- Level: 100
Who this course is designed for
- Developer Professionals
- Be proficient in manufacturing in Dynamics 365
- Basic manufacturing skills
- Dynamics 365 Core skills
Module 01 - Implement and Test the Production Control Module
In this module you will learn how to identify components of unified manufacturing, validate the interconnectivity between General Ledger and the production control modules, implement parameters, production orders, and life cycle and implement and manage subcontracting processes. You will also learn how to configure and manage Costing sheets, implement and manage work Calendars, configure Inventory dimensions in Production, implement and manage resources and resource groups and create and manage operations and routes.
Module 02 - Configure and Manage a Product Configuration Model
In this module you will learn how to build and manage product configuration model components, create and manage products, configure and manage constraints and BOM lines and route operations. You will also learn how to configure and manage pricing for production configuration models and describe the purpose and capabilities of the product configuration models.
Module 03 - Create Common Components of Production and Lean Orders
In this module you will learn how to create and configure catch weight items, create production flows, create and manage Kanbans and create and manage formulas. You will also learn how to create and process batch, production, and lean orders, set up and maintain commodity pricing, apply product compliance standards and identify items and substitute items within a bill of material (BOM) or formula.
Module 04 - Manage Scheduling and Subcontracting
In this module you will learn how to implement processes to manage Scrap and Waste for a Discrete order, implement production scheduling and subcontracting and activity-based subcontracting. You will also learn how to create and maintain project items and item tasks.
Module 05 - Manage the Production Batch Order Lifecycle
In this module you will learn how to process Batch orders, implement containerized packaging, set up and maintain commodity pricing, manage product compliance, implement and configure rebates, implement lot and batch control processes and create planned production batch orders by using the Master Planning module. This module will also cover how to implement processes to manage Scrap and Waste of a Batch order, perform a batch Rework, configure batch reservations and expiration dates, identify and configure batch attributes for processes, implement integrated batch processing with warehouse management system (WMS), also known as Advanced Warehouse Management and complete production processes for co-products and by-products.
Module 06 - Manage and Maintain Formulas
In this module you will learn how to create and manage co-products and by-products, planning items, formulas with scalable and percentage-based calculations and formulas with co-products, by-products, and planning items. You will also learn how to create and manage formulas with active ingredient-based calculations and implement step consumption and batch consumption.
Module 07 - Configure and Manage Manufacturing Executions
In this module you will learn how to identify the capabilities and limitations of the manufacturing executions module, identify the responsibilities of the security role managing the production processes, process Production orders by using manufacturing execution processes, process lean orders by using Kanban boards and identify the process workflows for managing a production environment.
