Course Outline

Module 01 - Configure Settings
In this module you will learn how to define and configure key required security roles, define and configure resource required scheduling options, define required entities, customize entities to meet requirements and configure territories, postal codes, and organizational units. You will also learn how to determine and configure required skill types, configure characteristics and skills, configure proficiency models, implement resource roles and categories and enable schedule board geocoding.

Module 02 - Configure Product and Service Pricing
In this module you will learn how to define required product and service types, configure minimum charge amounts and duration, determine when a product has a default list price and a work order price list, associate products and services with price lists and define tax codes.

Module 03 - Configure Bookable Resources
In this module you will learn how to manage bookable resources, enable mapping functionality, configure geocoding and define start and end locations for resources. You will also learn how to determine the types of addresses to use, configure pay types and rates, configure working hours and working hour templates and manage time off requests. This module will also cover how to describe use cases for resource pools, crews, and resource groups, define resource groups and resource group templates and set up resource pools and crews.

Module 04 - Integrate Other Tools with Field Service
In this module you will learn how to use Power Automate flows to automate tasks and enhance Dynamics 365 Field Service, describe use cases for collecting customer feedback by using Customer Voice, implement Remote Assist for use with Field Service and use Guides with work orders.

Module 05 - Describe the Work Order Lifecycle
In this module you will learn how to configure work orders, configure work order lifecycle stages, configure booking status and work order status values and configure uses and capabilities for billing accounts, service accounts, and sub-accounts.

Module 06 - Create and Manage Work Orders
In this module you will learn how to create a work order from an incident or an opportunity, add status and sub-status information to a work order, organize work orders and resources by geography and associate a work order and a price list. You will also learn how to identify processes required to close a work order and close a work order.

Module 07 - Manage Incidents
In this module you will learn how to configure incident types, assign requirement group templates to incident types, add service tasks to incidents and add products and services to incidents.

Module 08 - Create and Manage Agreements
In this module you will learn how to determine when to use agreements, define and configure agreement preferences and settings, configure automatic generation of bookings and create bookings. You will also learn how to create invoices and create service-level agreements (SLAs) and entitlements for agreements.

Module 09 - Manage Scheduling Options
In this module you will learn how to schedule work orders using Schedule Board and Schedule Assistant, determine when to use each scheduling option, configure fulfillment preferences and configure Quick book.

Module 10 - Implement Schedule Boards
In this module you will learn how to identify features and uses for Booking Requirements view, implement the integrated map feature, manually schedule work orders and reassign and reschedule work orders. You will also learn how to move incomplete work orders, generate driving instructions for field agents, configure schedule boards and customize the schedule board.

Module 11 - Implement the Schedule Assistant
In this module you will learn how to apply constraints to resource queries, filter data, specify a search radius and troubleshoot the Schedule Assistant.

Module 12 - Optimize Resource Scheduling
In this module you will learn how to describe the resource optimization process, define objectives and constraints and create optimization profiles.

Module 13 - Configure Universal Resource Scheduling
In this module you will learn how to describe use cases for Universal Resource Scheduling, create Power Automate flows to populate data in requirements records, create requirement views and enable scheduling for an entity. You will also learn how to restrict booking status values for an entity by using and option set and configure geocoding for a custom entity.

Module 14 - Install and Configure the Mobile App
In this module you will learn how to configure actions that field agents can perform, configure steps for the mobile app and set up synchronization filters.

Module 15 - Manage Mobile Projects
In this module you will learn how to configure project artifacts, modify configuration settings and publish a mobile project.

Module 16 - Customize the Mobile App
In this module you will learn how to import a Field Service project, assign security roles, administer connected devices and customize the mobile app user interface.

Module 17 - Manage Customer Assets
In this module you will learn how to configure uses for customer assets, create and register customer assets, configure products to enable automatic creation of customer assets and associate work orders with customer assets. This module will also cover how to create child assets and configure 3D asset models.

Module 18 - Manage Inventory and Warehouses
In this module you will learn how to set up inventory and warehouses, view product inventory, adjust inventory levels and transfer inventory between warehouses. You will also learn how to determine when to integrate inventory with Enterprise Resource Planning application and manually update inventory by using inventory journals.

Module 19 - Manage Purchasing and Product Returns
In this module you will learn how to describe the purchase order process, create purchase orders, create a list of receivable products for a purchase order and determine product return options. You will also learn how to create return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and finalize returns.

Module 20 - Describe Use Cases for Internet of Things (IoT)
In this module you will learn how to identify use cases for IoT and describe IoT components.

Module 21 - Implement Connected Field Service with IoT Hub
In this module you will learn how to manage IoT devices and security roles for Connected Field Service.
