Building Cloud Native
In this module, you will be introduced to some of the common services in Azure and learn how and when to take advantage of them to improve agility, elasticity, and overall operations.
In this module, you will learn about the foundations of container technologies, how they differ from traditional compute services such as physical and virtual servers, and learn common terminology. The module will also discuss how containers are being used in common cloud based-based workloads.
Azure AI and Cognitive Services
In this module, we’ll start by discussing how AI can empower innovation. Then we’ll look at the steps of the journey to AI for what is needed to implement Artificial Intelligence. Finally, we’ll take a look at the AI and Cognitive Services within Microsoft Azure and what they have to offer for implementing AI for your business.
Understanding IoT in Azure
In this module, we'll start with why organizations are revolutionizing the way they do business by creating innovative new solutions using the power of IoT. We'll discuss several examples and common use cases. From there, we'll discuss the IoT journey your organization will take by identifying processes and data that can be used to transform parts of your business. We'll move on to discuss how these capabilities can be enabled through the power of Microsoft Azure and its suite of services that simplify the development of IoT based solutions. Finally, we'll wrap up with a discussion of industry specific IoT scenarios and close on IoT security and its impact in your solution.
Introduction to Agile and DevOps
In this module, you will be introduced to commonly adopted processes in a cloud native world. Topics will include a foundational understanding of Agile software development, it's history, benefits of adopting an agile framework, as well as common terminology such as scrum, backlogs, and sprint planning. This module will also introduce the concept of DevOps and how it relates to people, process, and tooling when adopting cloud services.
Data and Machine Learning
In this module, you will be introduced to the various capabilities for building data driven solutions using Microsoft Azure. Topics will include common services for migrating data to the cloud, services for processing, storing and analyzing large amounts of data, as well as a brief introduction to Machine Learning use cases and available services.;
