As the new IT Professional for Opsgility, you are responsible for setting up infrastructure in the cloud. Opsgility has chosen Microsoft Azure as their cloud provider of choice.
To try out the service, you have been asked to setup a new highly-available web server in Opsgility’s Azure subscription.

In this Live Hackathon, you or your team will be challenged to prove your skills in Azure Infrastructure as a Service by deploying a highly available workload in a timed environment.

Opsgility has decided that the Cloud is the foundation of their digital strategy going forward. As part of their initial migration assessments they have determined that several workloads could be migrated from on-premises SQL Server to a solution in Azure. As the DBA Lead in charge of the on-premises servers you have been tasked with developing the strategy for migration and to develop a proof of concept to move the databases to Azure.
In this Live Hackathon, you or your team will be tasked with migrating several database workloads to Microsoft Azure. You will get to decide the correct approach as part of your design and then leverage the available tools to migrate the data and validate it once it’s migrated.
